This latest English Library has been set up / managed by Sonya Wilson. Book SWAP Ijburg offers local Ijburg primary schools and their teachers the opportunity to borrow English children’s books for their class. Class teachers can choose from wonderful fiction and factual picturebooks, graphic novels and early chapter books to keep their pupils stimulated and excited about learning and reading English. We are delighted that once again the American Book Center Amsterdam is supporting one of our projects and this time it’s close by. We are also receiving tremendous support from the International School in Amstelveen. Thank you.

Here you can see a few photos of the books that will be available for children. The Elephant and Piggie books by Mo Willems are especially popular with children. Funny stories and children can read along and alone with the help of the clear illustrations. Bets of all, there is always a solution to their problems.
