Little English School Libraries

Since 2015, The Little English Library has helped around 40 primary schools make a start at creating their own English reading corners in their school libraries and classrooms. These schools have received advice, books and starter packs with materials provided by EP-Nuffic, British Council NL and publishers such as Usborne, Oxford University Press and Penguin.

Setting up an English library takes time but have a look at some photos from participating schools and see what they have achieved:

In addition, we run two open-access Little English School Library. One at the Montessori + Breda. This library was a finalist in the SLA Inspiration Awards 2015 &  finalists at the 2016 British Council ELTons. It is home to over 2000 English children´s books. In September 2017, we opened up a second open-access Little English School Library at the Montessori+ in Prinsenbeek. Both libraries are accessible to all local children.
