SWAP 20 Amsterdam is well under-way at the American Book Center. This monthly book-lending opportunity is being turned by Lynn (co-owner of ABC) into a small event for teachers to mingle, share teaching ideas, learn about resources and listen to talks. Next week sees the second meet-up of 9 local schools already participating in SWAP 20 Amsterdam. For this event Elly Deelder, Senior Associate for Projects at Europeesche Platform for International Education, will be joining and providing a policy update. So, if you are a teacher in the Amsterdam area looking for English children´s books or if you have children in a Dutch Primary school that is looking for English books, please mention SWAP 20.
